You can make any place your home by building and repairing and nurturing the place where you are, along with yourself and the people around you.

The capitalist-imperialist machine enacts violence through displacement. From the Nakba to ICE raids to encampment sweeps, it rips people away from the very homes they've struggled so hard to build.

This project is both joy for those who have found a home and grief for those who have lost theirs.
i. cathedral wash // home

the war machine must go
how can we make it so?

live, fight, struggle, die old:
claim the streets
feed a neighbor
write a poem
teach a comrade
build a home.

in this space we call forever,
love is alive here;
you can tend it anywhere.

ii. heaven will be yours // i watched you touch it (feat. unit333)

“how alone are we really?”
i was just a little behind you,
close enough to take your hand.
the answer suddenly struck you then
and i watched as you touched heaven.
iii. i found a place where you belong // it's nowhere special, just wherever you are (feat. jhl)

i found a place where you belong
it’s not far away;
it’s not hard to find
you can go there any time

just take the path to nothing
go nowhere until you reach it
you won’t have to travel far
because home is wherever you are

iv. trying to fall forever (w/ xia)

i looked out onto the sea and
felt the sun on my eyes
the hole in my chest
filling with light
giving me
breath,
over and over and over
and over and over
again
